NOTICE TO STEEL EMPLOYERS

ADDITIONAL SAFEGUARD DUTIES

Dear Steel Industry employer

The International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC) has, effective from 27 June 2025 until 13 January 2026, imposed provisional safeguard duties of 52,34% on all galvanized coil thinner than 0,45mm. This preliminary duty takes effect immediately in spite of the investigation that is still ongoing.
